A passion for extreme sport mixed with a deep love of nature is what has birthed this Whitsundays kitesurfing getaway.   We will be teaming up with Aqua 5: an established adventure tour company based at Airlie Beach. Not only do they have all the local knowledge, and are keen kitesurfers themselves, they also have an incredibly powerful boat equipped with 4 x 300 HP outboard engines that allows us to go places not many other boat people can take you! 
From the moment you hop off the mainland you will be completely looked after by our dedicated staff. If you happen to have any extra energy, there are many extra activities to try your hands at such as foiling, winging, wakeboarding, snorkelling, spearfishing and more! Palm Bay Resort is a beautiful boutique resort nestled in the neck of Long Island, one of the iconic islands of the Great Barrier Reef. With it's very own secluded private cove, Palm Bay offers spacious Balinese inspired villas with extensive views to the Whitsunday Passage and the Coral Sea.  Guests of Palm Bay Resort can access all of the resort facilities including the poolside dining area as well as the Palm Blue Day Spa, beach pavilion and lounge space, media room, tennis court, nature walks and kayaks. They do not offer Wi-Fi at the resort; however, in certain areas of the resort, there is very good reception. There isn't much to say about the Whitsundays that you haven't already heard. It is legendary for good reasons.  It is the heart of the Great Barrier Reef teeming with marine life, largely uninhabited islands, covered by dense rainforest and rimmed by white sandy beaches. With 74 idyllic islands to choose from we have picked the absolute best for your kiteboarding holiday.

You will be chartered to a new location almost every day dependent on wind conditions including a trip to the Outer Reefs.  A refreshment and social gazebo will be set up in every kite location for you to to stay fresh and kite longer!

On top of the stunning kite spots there will also be the opportunity to explore the world renowned marine life and nature that is on offer. As much as this tour is about kiting, it is also about immersing yourself in the wild and finding a deep appreciation for nature's beautiful complexity. Tour Dates and Price

Your tour will start at 9am on the Day 1 meeting at the Marina in Airlie Beach and end in the afternoon of the Friday.

We recommend arriving in Airlie the day before and getting a good night's rest in the town before the tour begins the following day. We can assist you in planning an airport shuttle and have a range of accommodation recommendations.

Single supplement is available if you would like your own private room for an extra $800.

If you cannot make this date but are still very interested, get in touch with us and we may be able to run another tour later in Winter.

Payment Options & Terms

An initial deposit is required within 7 days of your booking equal to 40% of the tour price.

Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION POLICY:  Up to 31 days till day of departure:  $800 cancellation fee + any cancellation fees incurred by our accommodation partners   Within 31 days of departure  Unfortunately as by this time we will have organised and paid for all the accommodation, instructors etc which don't offer refunds this close to the tour so we are unable to provide a refund. If you do find yourself in this situation we are happy to transfer your spot to someone else so you can at least live vicariously through them! 
Covid Cancellation  In the event that you cannot make the tour due to state border restrictions or you are required to self-isolate or quarantine, as a direct result of Covid-19, the following refund applies:  Full refund except for fees we incur from our accommodation providers  ---  
Escape Eco Adventures withholds the right to cancel your booking if amounts are not payed on time and may include cancellation fees.

If you would like to bring a friend, family member or spouse who isn't a kiter please get in touch with us and we can organise an unforgettable experience for them as well.  There are numerous beautiful hikes, snorkeling spots, and Aqua 5 is able to run scuba diving and freediving courses so there are abundant things they could do!
