When you book with us your our team provides airport transfers, 3 meals a day and snacks, video coaching, and daily on the water coaching from our high level instructors.

Paully and Ant from Kitesurfari are great and extremely accommodating however do not include on the water coaching or video coaching. Both options are great and it only depends on what you would like out of the trip.

We've noticed a lot of busy students and riders struggling to consistently get out and achieve their desired ability. This tour was designed to get the maximum amount of progression in the fastest way possible. If you've never touched a kite before our kitesurfing camps give you the best chance to be riding by the end of the week. If you're starting to ride consistently you will end up jumping or riding waves. If you're starting to jump you will be spinning and looping in no time. The beach is on your doorstep. The Trade Wind almost never ends in Far North Queensland. You'll be sheltered in the accommodation and only a few steps away from the beach to set up. GoPro, drone and camera footage will be taken of you along the way which allows you to easily identify your mistakes and bad habits. Australian Kite Surfari

Held at an exclusive site on traditional Aboriginal grounds, north of Cooktown. Australian Kite Surfari is the only one with special permission to host people there.

The cabins are only meters from the water’s edge, so you are never far from the action. Access to our camp is at low tide which means as the tide comes in the spot is cut off from the rest of the world. No crowds, just consistently strong trade winds, warm water and a group of like-minded people surrounded by nature.

Typically it blows 20-25knots all day every day. There can be stronger and lighter days and the minute chance of a no wind day. You will want to have kites that you can ride at 12knots to 30knots At 80kg I would be riding my 9m most of the time and 13m some of the time.

The place we stay at is off grid and has a strict amount of people allowed so unfortunately we cannot cater to non kiting +1s unless they pay the full tour price. You have a couple of options! 1. If you don't have your own gear or don't want to go through the hassle of bringing your gear we can provide a full kite kit to rent for $900. This includes kites, bar, board and harness. It does not include wetsuit, impact vest or any other equipment.

2. Hire to buy: If you're thinking about buying gear but not sure you you can rent gear and we will take 50% off the rental price of any kite and bar purchase.

6 months prior: 50% of the tour price. 3 months prior: The full amount must be paid

Unfortunately as by this time we will have organised and paid for all the accommodation, instructors etc which don't offer refunds this close to the tour so we are unable to provide a refund. If you do find yourself in this situation we are happy to transfer your spot to someone else so you can at least live vicariously through them!

Covid Cancellation

In the event that you cannot make the tour due to state border restrictions or you are required to self-isolate or quarantine, as a direct result of Covid-19, the following refund applies:

Full refund except for fees we incur from our providers.
