If you want to surf, tow or kite with a foil then this lesson is for you. 

Our experienced instructors will guide you through the steps as you get towed behind our boat.

Lesson 1

Gear is supplied

Bring water, sunnies, hat and a wetsuit if it's cold (you can rent a wetsuit for $20pp)

 

The first lesson will be in the flat waters of the bay. 

​

Our lessons are conducted by boat with a minimum of two participants in rotation for minimum of 2 hours. If you are solo please get in touch as a third person is legally required in the vessel for safety.


Skills learned:
 

  • Understanding the physics and theory of the foil

  • Mastering the foil from a kneeling position

  • Edging the board to get out of the wake

  • How to stand

  • Keeping foil at a consistent height

  • Slow turns

  • Let go and glide unassisted by the tow rope

Lesson 2

Hydrofoil gear is supplied

Bring water, sunnies, hat and a wetsuit if it's cold 

Firstly we will make sure that we have mastered the skills from the previous lesson.

Our focus this lesson is most often to get you surf ready.
